1. Working environment of carbon black reactor

First of all, we will analyze the working environment of the carbon black reactor. According to the production needs, different furnace types produce different carbon black materials, and the temperature requirements and working conditions are naturally different. For example, in a reactor for producing ordinary carbon black, the temperature of the combustion section and the throat section is 1800 to 2000 ° C, and the flow rate of the hot gas flow in the furnace is very fast, and the lining is easily peeled off by the high temperature thermal stress. Moreover, the oxide gas generated by the reaction of the fuel and the raw material after the high temperature is highly erosive to the refractory material. Therefore, the carbon black reactor kiln lining refractory material should have: 1) high refractoriness; 2) strong thermal shock resistance and erosion resistance.

2. Performance characteristics of chrome corundum refractory castable

The main chemical components of chrome corundum refractory castables are Al2O3 and Cr2O3. The refractory castables with Cr2O3-Al2O3 mixture have high load softening temperature, high temperature compressive strength, high temperature flexural strength, strong corrosion resistance and good compactness. The advantages. In principle, the chrome corundum refractory castable can be used in any proportion of Cr2O3/Al2O3 ratio. The better the chromium content, the higher the compressive strength, the flexural strength and the slag corrosion resistance of the chrome corundum refractory castable.

3. Use of chrome corundum refractory castables

On the carbon black reactor with a temperature of 1800 °C, the chrome corundum refractory castable with 10% chromium content is used as the inner belt of the combustion belt, the throat belt and the reaction belt to ensure the safe operation of the furnace. On the ultra-high temperature carbon black reactor with temperature of 2000 °C, chrome corundum refractory castable with 60-70% chromium content is used for the highest temperature, while chrome corundum refractory casting with lower chromium content can be used for the lower temperature. material.
