Construction of refractory fiber plastic for petroleum cracking furnace

Refractory fiber plastic is a new type of gas-hard amorphous refractory material prepared by using fiber materials, binders and admixtures. It has the characteristics of environmental protection, no pollution, easy construction and good performance. It has been widely used in recent years. In petroleum pyrolysis furnaces and other high-temperature thermal equipment in the petroleum and chemical industries. Although refractory fiber plastic is also a kind of plastic, it is different from traditional refractory plastic in construction. The specific construction can be referred to the following:

1. Preparation before construction

Before the refractory fiber can enter the field, the physical and chemical indicators of the material should be analyzed experimentally, and the materials required by the composite construction technology can enter the field. The refractory fiber plastic is a gas-hard refractory material. During the storage process, the room temperature should be 5~25°C to avoid the material construction performance due to excessive or too low temperature. Before the construction, the construction body should be inspected, the construction body should be cleaned, the density of the welding anchors should be reasonable, and the welding should not be too dense or the welding should be too thin. The anchor should be perpendicular to the furnace shell during welding.

2, construction method

As with traditional refractory plastics, the construction methods of refractory fiber plastics are also divided into two types, namely, manual smearing and beating. The manual smear method does not use the formwork, and the smashing method requires the formwork to be demolded.

1) Hand smearing

The manual smearing method is relatively simple. After the construction is formed, the surface of the construction body needs to be trimmed to ensure a smooth surface and a uniform thickness. It should be noted that the refractory fiber can have a large water content, and the surface is easy to cause the moisture to be discharged out of the crack or fall off. Therefore, it is strictly forbidden to touch the surface.

2) Beating molding method

The beating method is a method that uses more methods. Although the method requires a template, the construction effect is good. Supporting the formwork is a critical step. Materials with high strength and stiffness must be selected to be accurate in size to prevent the formwork from deforming during construction. In the construction, the template should be coated with lubricant, and the joint between the template and the template should be dense to prevent the occurrence of leakage. The demolding time is not too long and should be demolded as soon as possible after hardening.

3. Construction requirements

During construction, care should be taken to prevent the intrusion of debris and to avoid the use of quality in the later stages.

Expansion joints and rolling vents shall be reserved during construction. Its main purpose is to facilitate the discharge of water in the body as soon as possible, and at the same time, it can play a certain buffering role, which helps to reduce the cracks and falling off caused by the expansion of the lining after the furnace is warmed up.

The molded body after molding should be waterproof, and watering is strictly prohibited.

After the completion of the construction, the construction body should be maintained for 7 days under the price adjustment of natural ventilation. The refractory fiber can be plastic and does not need an oven, and can be directly heated.

Its superior thermal insulation and high temperature resistance, light weight and high temperature are not deformed. It is highly praised by petroleum and chemical industry, especially in reformer and petroleum cracking furnace. In application, it has achieved good development.
