The basic requirements for the production of refractory bricks, according to the national standards of sintered clay refractory bricks, over-fire bricks, under-fire bricks, black-head bricks, crisp bricks, spiral bricks, the size is out of tolerance, no complete surface, impurities protruding, lack of edge and other appearance quality Exceeding the standard, all are unqualified products. Among them, over-fire bricks, under-fire bricks, black-head bricks, and crisp bricks are all caused during the firing process. Judging from the actual situation of some brick and tile enterprises, the proportion of over-fired bricks and under-fired bricks in many unqualified products is the largest, generally 1%-3% of annual output, and some township brick and tile enterprises are as high as 5%. Take the brick factory with an annual output of 10 million bricks as an example. The loss rate of over and under fire bricks is 3%, and 300,000 bricks are unqualified every year. Therefore, ensuring the quality of brick products during the firing process is crucial, and it is also the key to reducing product costs and improving the economic benefits of enterprises. The wet billet entering the kiln is a taboo for the firing of the kiln: the residual moisture content of the kiln brick required for the kiln brick is 5%-7% (wet basis). Practice has proved that the bricks are dried and within the above water content, the quality of the firing can be fully guaranteed by entering the kiln. On the contrary, if the residual moisture of the brick blank exceeds the above limit (it is customary to call the brick blank wet), the firing quality cannot be guaranteed. The wet billet is put into the kiln. The first is to increase the water vapor content in the kiln and increase the coal consumption. Secondly, the water vapor may adhere to the periphery of the blank, and the broken billet is stable and causes a series of hazards. The lighter causes the bricks to be mute and cracked, and the heavy ones cause the blank to collapse and turn the kiln.

Natural dry enterprises wet billets into the kiln often appear in the seasons of less wind and rain; the use of artificially dried corporate wet billets into the kiln caused not only the kiln and the appearance of waste, but also caused the "obstruction" of the production process. There are two requirements for fuel in refractory bricks. One is that the blending amount is suitable, and the other is whether the blending is uniform. The uneven blending of the internal fuel will inevitably cause significant differences in the temperature in the kiln or cause fluctuations. Because this kind of unevenness can not be mastered in advance, the fire in the kiln also appears irregularly large and small, making the firework unable to operate. For example, if the bricks with insufficient amount of burned materials are used as the standard, the method of externally feeding coal must be used to increase the temperature during the roasting. However, once the temperature is raised, the bricks with high internal fuel will inevitably overfire and will overfire in the same kiln. Two kinds of waste products, in severe cases, can endanger several kiln rooms and even cause continuous kiln accidents. The uneven blending of fuel in the artificial drying process directly destroys the balance of the thermal system in the system, resulting in a vicious cycle in the blank and the entire production system. Strengthening the management of the drying process, the drying quality of the refractory brick is to ensure that the brick is intact (no crack, damp, frozen, etc.), the dehydration is uniform and the drying cycle is short, which is determined by two aspects, one is the incorporation as a thinner Suitable to reduce the drying sensitivity; Second, strengthen the drying process management, natural drying should be as follows:

(1) Drying facilities (renovation of sheds, frames, transport roads, drains);

(2) Protective facilities (grass, burlap, etc.) are available;

(3) Formulate operational and management procedures for the perfect frame, flower stand and guard frame;

(4) Implement (contracting) responsibilities, limit the drying cycle and scrap rate, supplemented by the reward and punishment system. Artificial drying should be based on the optimal thermal parameters and scientific management, and the stability and balance of the entire production system should be implemented to ensure the drying effect and quality of the bricks, to find out the reasons, to promote the quality management of the bricks, and to improve the quality level.
