Application of lightweight castable in the furnace cover of mine furnace
Dec 20, 2018

The construction drawing of the lining of the furnace roof of a company's mining furnace, the lining of the furnace cover is a layered casting mode of lightweight castables and heavy castables. The construction thickness of lightweight castables is 80mm, and the thickness of heavy castables is 270mm. The two-layer castable adopts the anchor brick hanging process, and the thermal stress generated by each small anchor brick is also different, but since the small anchor bricks are relatively independent, they can generate relatively small motion, which is beneficial to release thermal stress. And reduce the thermal stress on the refractory material, thereby reducing the damage of the refractory material and improving the service life of the lining of the furnace cover.

The lining of the furnace cover enhances the anchoring effect on the castable by adopting the pre-buried structure of the anchor brick, and increases the bonding area between the anchor and the refractory castable, so that the integrity of the lining of the refractory material is improved, and the anchor brick has a very high With strong anchoring, the service life of the liner can be extended by nearly 2 times.

In the lining of the thermal equipment in some high temperature areas, the anchoring brick structure is adopted, which increases the wear resistance and the peeling resistance of the lining, and improves the operating efficiency of the submerged arc furnace.

Because the light lining is used as the thermal insulation material, the heat absorbing material on the outer surface of the furnace cover is weakened, the heat loss is reduced, the normal smelting conditions of the submerged arc furnace are maintained, the smelting capacity is improved, and the smelting cost is reduced.
